Walker Jones Building Survey
|
A Walker Jones Building Survey is suitable for all types of property and is more comprehensive than an RICS Homebuyer Report. The Report provides a more detailed view of construction and condition and includes a list of essential repairs which we consider will influence the value of the property.
A Building Survey is advisable for dilapidated properties. Whilst a Walker Jones Building Survey can be undertaken on virtually any type of property, such a survey would be particularly suitable for 'complex', very large or dilapidated properties. It may also be more suitable in situations where the property has undergone major alterations, or where major alterations are planned.

The purpose of a Walker Jones Building Survey is to enable a client to come to a considered judgment as to the wisdom of a purchase. Minor defects (e.g. broken window catches) may not be mentioned unless these are likely to influence value. A valuation is also usually provided.
The report can be tailored to a clients particular needs and is in an easy to read format avoiding unnecessary technical language as far as possible.
