If the acquiring authority (e.g. the Welsh Assembly) need to purchase land for a particular scheme then in such circumstances we can be engaged to negotiate with them. Your entitlement to compensation will be investigated and negotiated in respect of any compensation payable for the value of any land acquired and/or compensation for such matters as 'injurious affection' and 'disturbance'. Even where no land is purchased from a Client, compensation may still be payable in certain circumstances. We are happy to discuss any matters with potential clients without any obligation. It should be emphasised that the acquiring authority, in addition to any compensation entitlement, usually meets any fees payable to Walker Jones.
